Hi All,

I thought it would be neat to start a new thread that focuses on Soul's who have provable past life recall. Here are two stories like that.

1. 3-Year-Old Remembers Past Life, Identifies Murderer and Location of Body
By Tara MacIsaac, Epoch Times | May 17, 2014

A 3-year-old boy in the Golan Heights region near the border of Syria and Israel said he was murdered with an axe in his previous life. He showed village elders where the murderer buried his body, and sure enough they found a man’s skeleton there. He also showed the elders where the murder weapon was found, and upon digging, they did indeed find an axe there.

In his book, “Children Who Have Lived Before: Reincarnation Today,” German therapist Trutz Hardo tells this boy’s story, along with other stories of children who seem to remember their past lives with verified accuracy. The boy’s story was witnessed by Dr. Eli Lasch, who is best known for developing the medical system in Gaza as part of an Israeli government operation in the 1960s. Dr. Lasch, who died in 2009, had recounted these astounding events to Hardo.

The boy was of the Druze ethnic group, and in his culture the existence of reincarnation is accepted as fact. His story nonetheless had the power to surprise his community.

He was born with a long, red birthmark on his head. The Druse believe, as some other cultures do, that birthmarks are related to past-life deaths. When the boy was old enough to talk, he told his family he had been killed by a blow to the head with an axe.

It is customary for elders to take a child at the age of 3 to the home of his previous life if he remembers it. The boy knew the village he was from, so they went there. When they arrived in the village, the boy remembered the name he had in his past life.

A village local said the man the boy claimed to be the reincarnation of had gone missing four years earlier. His friends and family thought he may have strayed into hostile territory nearby as sometimes happens.

The boy also remembered the full name of his killer. When he confronted this man, the alleged killer’s face turned white, Lasch told Hardo, but he did not admit to murder. The boy then said he could take the elders to where the body was buried. In that very spot, they found a man’s skeleton with a wound to the head that corresponded to the boy’s birth mark. They also found the axe, the murder weapon.

Faced with this evidence, the murderer admitted to the crime. Dr. Lasch, the only non-Druse, was present through this whole process.

2. Boy Remembers Wife and Killer of Past Life, Finds Them Again
By Tara MacIsaac, Epoch Times | May 18, 2014

A little boy in Turkey insisted as soon as he could talk that he be called Selim Fesli instead of the name his parents gave him, Semih Tutusmus. He said he was the reincarnation of Fesli, and he remembered the names of people from Fesli’s life as well as many details from his life, which were later verified by Fesli’s widow.

German therapist Trutz Hardo told this boy’s story in his book “Children Who Have Lived Before: Reincarnation Today.”  He recounts the story witnessed by the late Dr. Ian Stevenson, who was a leading researcher for the University of Virginia School of Medicine on the topic of reincarnation.

On May 9, 1958, in the village of Hatun Köy, Turkey, Fesli was found dead in a field. He had been shot in the face and right ear. His neighbor, Isa Dirbekli, admitted he shot and killed Fesli, but he said it was by accident, that he was hunting at the time.

In the neighboring village of Sarkonak, Mrs. Karanfil Tutusmus, was pregnant. She had a dream in which a man who identified himself as Selim Fesli appeared. He had a bloody face.

Tutusmus’s baby was born with a small and deformed right ear, corresponding to the wound that killed Fesli.

When the boy was 4 years old, he walked to Fesli’s home and told Fesli’s widow, “I am Selim, you are my wife Katibe.” He remembered intimate details of their life together and the names of his children. He visited often, still treating Katibe as his wife and Fesli’s grown children as his children.

The boy said that Dirbekli had intentionally killed him over a dispute about Fesli’s mule grazing in Dirbekli’s field. Dirbekli maintained it was an accident. The boy would throw stones at Dirbekli when he saw him, but he was stopped from taking a more violent revenge.

Resat Bayer, Dr. Stevenson’s Turkish partner, warned the boy that if he took revenge, Dirbekli could likewise reincarnate and take revenge, and a cycle of hate and revenge may ensue.

What would really good, when possible, is to post the birth charts of these Souls. In any case, if you want to post stories like this that you are aware of please do.

God Bless, Rad

Hi Rad,

I saw the first one too, someone posted on Facebook, really neat. It seems there are each time more children with past life memories which are helping to confirm reincarnation for the masses. There was also a doctor who interviewed around 3000 children and the medical history of their past lives, which he then could confirm since he was a doctor and had access to their records. I´m not sure where I saw that though.

All the best

Anne Frank:

"The idea that Anne Frank was reincarnated after her death in the Holocaust may, at first, seem difficult to swallow but it must also be accompanied by the recognition from many past life researchers that a great deal of Holocaust victims bounced back quickly within the baby boomer generation. The difference between Anne and her contemporaries was a laser focused wisdom that turned her into an international icon after her death. However, that does not negate the possibility that her soul could bounce back with many of those who died with her in the horrors of Nazi concentration camps.

Barbro Karlen’s awareness of not belonging with her present family appears to have been there from the earliest years of her life. She never wanted to call her mother and father “Ma and Pa” as they asked of her. Initial past life memories came as nightmares in her childhood of men running upstairs and kicking in the door, which was later discovered to be memories of the Nazis coming to take the Frank family away from their attic hiding place. The concern from her parents about the past life memories prompted them to have her evaluated by a psychiatrist, yet she knew in childhood that talking about reincarnation wasn’t socially acceptable. She never spoke of it and the psychiatrist deemed her healthy.

Learning to read and write in the first years of school came as an immense relief to Barbro, which appears to be common among souls that lived quite literary lives. Her room soon became covered in papers and that led to her first book being published when she was twelve. Still, she almost never spoke of being Anne Frank in a past life because she learned so early that the adults in her life became very tense whenever she tried to explain her experiences. It wasn’t until she began learning about Anne Frank in school that she realized this girl was a famous figure in history, not just someone she knew as herself..."

Hi Cat,

Very interesting.

I drew up the Synastry for Anne Frank and Barbro Karlen (attached below).

--  Frank's Pluto conj Karlen's South Node and Uranus

Imo, the most important aspect in the synastry is Frank's Pluto conj Karlen's South Node and Uranus.  As Uranus correlates to "long term memories," it makes sense that Karlen remembered her (most recent?) past life as Frank.  While Uranus correlates to the mental body, the South Node holds memories stored within the emotional body.  Karlen's Uranus conj her own South Node is a re-living of the trauma held in the emotional body in order to heal (opp Chiron).  Frank's Pluto is in the 12th house (her life had impacted the collective unconsciousness) while Karlen has 4 planets plus South Node in the 12th.

--  Karlen's Pluto conj Frank's Moon-Neptune

Frank's Neptune correlates to victimization.  Karlen's current Pluto is supported by her South Node Cancer (conj Frank's Pluto).  Karlen's North Node Capricorn (conj Mars) ruled by Saturn in Scorpio opp Frank's Venus-Chiron-Ceres.  Karlen's Moon conj her PPP Aquarius ruled by Uranus (conj Frank's Pluto).

--  Mercury conj Mercury

Both are prolific writers.  Karlen's Mercury trines her own Moon and Neptune giving credence to "consciously remembering" her past life as Frank.  While Frank's Mercury was Rx in Gemini in the 11th, Karlen's Mercury was not Rx, also in Gemini but in the 12th..... and their Mercury's are 2 minutes apart.

I don't know "for sure" if Karlen was Frank;  I don't think I have that special gift, however the synastry between them is extremely interesting.

The Boy Who Lived Before

This article by Yvonne Bolouri appeared in the Sun newspaper on 8 September 2006. See also video here.

LITTLE Cameron Macaulay was a typical six-year-old, always talking about his mum and family. He liked to draw pictures of his home too — a long single-storey, white house standing in a bay. But it sent shivers down his mum’s spine — because Cameron said it was somewhere they had never been, 160 miles away from where they lived. And he said the mother he was talking about was his "old mum". Convinced he had lived a previous life Cameron worried his former family would be missing him. The Glasgow lad said they were on the Isle Of Barra.

Mum Norma, 42, said: "Ever since Cameron could speak he’s come up with tales of a childhood on Barra. He spoke about his former parents, how his dad died, and his brothers and sisters. Eventually we just had to take him there to see what we could find. It was an astonishing experience."

Cameron’s journey to find his previous life is now the subject of a spooky TV documentary. Norma said: "His dad and I are no longer together but neither of our families have ever been to the island. At first we just put his stories down to a vivid imagination." Then life took a more sinister turn as Cameron started to become distressed at being away from his Barra family.

Norma said: "It was awful and went on for years. When he started nursery his teacher asked to see me and told me all the things Cameron was saying about Barra. He missed his mummy and his brothers and sisters there. He missed playing in rockpools on the beach beside his house. And he complained that in our house there was only one toilet, whereas in Barra, they had three. He used to cry for his mummy. He said she’d be missing him and he wanted to let his family in Barra know he was all right. It was very distressing. He was inconsolable."

"He wouldn’t stop talking about Barra, where they went, what they did and how he watched the planes landing on the beach from his bedroom window. He even said his dad was called Shane Robertson, who had died because "he didn’t look both ways". I assume he means knocked over by a car but he never says that. One day his nursery teacher told me a film company were looking for people who believed they had lived before. She suggested I contact them about Cameron. My family were horrified. There was a lot of opposition to it. I’m a single parent so it was me and Cameron’s brother Martin, who is only a year older than him, who were being badly affected by this.

"Cameron wouldn’t stop begging me to take him to Barra. It was constant. I contacted the film company and they followed Cameron’s journey to Barra. We had child psychologist Dr Jim Tucker, from Virginia, with us. He specialises in reincarnation and has researched other children like Cameron. When Cameron was told we were going to Barra he was jumping all over the place with excitement." The family flew from Glasgow last February and landed on Cockleshell Bay an hour later.

Norma said: "He asked me if his face was shiny, because he was so happy. When we got to the island and did land on a beach, just as Cameron had described, he turned to Martin and me and said, "Now do you believe me?" He got off the plane, threw his arms in the air and yelled "I’m back". He talked about his Barra mum, telling me she had brown hair down to her waist before she’d had it cut. He said I’d like her and she’d like me. He was anxious for us to meet. He also talked about a "big book" he used to read, and God and Jesus. We’re not a religious family but his Barra family were."

The Macaulays booked into a hotel and began their search for clues to Cameron’s past. Norma said: "We contacted the Heritage Centre and asked if they’d heard of a Robertson family who lived in a white house overlooking a bay. They hadn’t. Cameron was very disappointed. We drove around the island but he didn’t see the house. Then we realised that if he saw planes land on the beach from his bedroom window, we were driving the wrong way."

Next the family received a call from their hotel to confirm that a family called Robertson once had a white house on the bay. Norma explains: "We didn’t tell Cameron anything. We just drove towards where we were told the house was and waited to see what would happen. He recognised it immediately and was overjoyed. But as we walked to the door all the colour drained from Cameron’s face and he became very quiet."

"I think he thought it would be exactly the same as he remembered it, that his Barra mum would be waiting for him inside. He looked sad. There was no one there. The previous owner had died but a keyholder let us in. There were lots of nooks and crannies and Cameron knew every bit of the house — including the three toilets and the beach view from his bedroom window. In the garden, he took us to the "secret entrance" he’d been talking about for years."

Researchers also managed to track down one of the Robertson family who had owned the house [Gilly — apparently they were from the mainland but used to holiday there in the summer]. Norma said: "We visited them at their new address in Stirling, but couldn’t find anything about a Shane Robertson. Cameron was eager to see old family photographs in case he found his dad or himself in any. He’d always talked about a big black car and a black and white dog. The car and the dog were in the photos."

Since the family returned to their home in Clydebank, Glasgow, Cameron has been much calmer. Norma said: "Going to Barra was the best thing we could have done. It’s put Cameron’s mind at ease. He no longer talks about Barra with such longing. Now he knows we no longer think he was making things up."

"We didn’t get all the answers we were looking for — and, apparently, past life memories fade as the person gets older. Cameron has never spoken about dying to me. But he told his pal not to worry about dying, because "you just come back again". When I asked him how he ended up with me, he tells me he "fell through and went into my tummy". And when I ask him what his name was before, he says, "It’s Cameron. It’s still me". I don’t think we’ll ever get all the answers."

[IL adds: "The Boy Who Lived Before" aired on UK Channel Five on September 18 2006. This interview is a pretty accurate reflection of the documentary's contents. It is fair to say that Jim Tucker did not regard it as "solved", and the inability to track the existence of a Shane Robertson and his son means that this is not the strongest of cases. Nevertheless it is important, because as far as I am aware it is the first time that a documentary crew has filmed a child subject's first return to the place of their former life as it happened, rather than merely obtaining subsequent interviews.]

The following is from a chapter in Paramahansa Yogananda's Autobiography of a Yogi that involves him discovering 'Kashi' who was a boy in his school who died, and then was found by Yogananda in his next life ..........

Chapter: 28

Kashi, Reborn and Rediscovered

“Please do not go into the water. Let us bathe by dipping our buckets.”

I was addressing the young Ranchi students who were accompanying me on an eight-mile hike to a neighboring hill. The pond before us was inviting, but a distaste for it had arisen in my mind. The group around me followed my example of dipping buckets, but a few lads yielded to the temptation of the cool waters. No sooner had they dived than large water snakes wiggled around them. The boys came out of the pond with comical alacrity.

We enjoyed a picnic lunch after we reached our destination. I sat under a tree, surrounded by a group of students. Finding me in an inspirational mood, they plied me with questions.

“Please tell me, sir,” one youth inquired, “if I shall always stay with you in the path of renunciation.”

“Ah, no,” I replied, “you will be forcibly taken away to your home, and later you will marry.”

Incredulous, he made a vehement protest. “Only if I am dead can I be carried home.” But in a few months, his parents arrived to take him away, in spite of his tearful resistance; some years later, he did marry.

After answering many questions, I was addressed by a lad named Kashi. He was about twelve years old, a brilliant student, and beloved by all.

“Sir,” he said, “what will be my fate?”

“You shall soon be dead.” The reply came from my lips with an irresistible force.

This unexpected disclosure shocked and grieved me as well as everyone present. Silently rebuking myself as an enfant terrible, I refused to answer further questions.

On our return to the school, Kashi came to my room.

“If I die, will you find me when I am reborn, and bring me again to the spiritual path?” He sobbed.

I felt constrained to refuse this difficult occult responsibility. But for weeks afterward, Kashi pressed me doggedly. Seeing him unnerved to the breaking point, I finally consoled him.

“Yes,” I promised. “If the Heavenly Father lends His aid, I will try to find you.”
My brother Bishnu

Rhondda Williams, Prof. S. Ushigasaki, Rev. Jabez T. Sunderland, myself, Rev. Chas. W. Wendte, Rev. Samuel A. Eliot, Rev. Basil Martin, Rev. Christopher J. Street, Rev. Samuel M. Crothers.

During the summer vacation, I started on a short trip. Regretting that I could not take Kashi with me, I called him to my room before leaving, and carefully instructed him to remain, against all persuasion, in the spiritual vibrations of the school. Somehow I felt that if he did not go home, he might avoid the impending calamity.

No sooner had I left than Kashi’s father arrived in Ranchi. For fifteen days he tried to break the will of his son, explaining that if Kashi would go to Calcutta for only four days to see his mother, he could then return. Kashi persistently refused. The father finally said he would take the boy away with the help of the police. The threat disturbed Kashi, who was unwilling to be the cause of any unfavorable publicity to the school. He saw no choice but to go.

I returned to Ranchi a few days later. When I heard how Kashi had been removed, I entrained at once for Calcutta. There I engaged a horse cab. Very strangely, as the vehicle passed beyond the Howrah bridge over the Ganges, I beheld Kashi’s father and other relatives in mourning clothes. Shouting to my driver to stop, I rushed out and glared at the unfortunate father.

“Mr. Murderer,” I cried somewhat unreasonably, “you have killed my boy!”

The father had already realized the wrong he had done in forcibly bringing Kashi to Calcutta. During the few days the boy had been there, he had eaten contaminated food, contracted cholera, and passed on.

My love for Kashi, and the pledge to find him after death, night and day haunted me. No matter where I went, his face loomed up before me. I began a memorable search for him, even as long ago I had searched for my lost mother.

I felt that inasmuch as God had given me the faculty of reason, I must utilize it and tax my powers to the utmost in order to discover the subtle laws by which I could know the boy’s astral whereabouts. He was a soul vibrating with unfulfilled desires, I realized—a mass of light floating somewhere amidst millions of luminous souls in the astral regions. How was I to tune in with him, among so many vibrating lights of other souls?

Using a secret yoga technique, I broadcasted my love to Kashi’s soul through the microphone of the spiritual eye, the inner point between the eyebrows. With the antenna of upraised hands and fingers, I often turned myself round and round, trying to locate the direction in which he had been reborn as an embryo. I hoped to receive response from him in the concentration-tuned radio of my heart.1

I intuitively felt that Kashi would soon return to the earth, and that if I kept unceasingly broadcasting my call to him, his soul would reply. I knew that the slightest impulse sent by Kashi would be felt in my fingers, hands, arms, spine, and nerves.

With undiminished zeal, I practiced the yoga method steadily for about six months after Kashi’s death. Walking with a few friends one morning in the crowded Bowbazar section of Calcutta, I lifted my hands in the usual manner. For the first time, there was response. I thrilled to detect electrical impulses trickling down my fingers and palms. These currents translated themselves into one overpowering thought from a deep recess of my consciousness: “I am Kashi; I am Kashi; come to me!”

The thought became almost audible as I concentrated on my heart radio. In the characteristic, slightly hoarse whisper of Kashi,2 I heard his summons again and again. I seized the arm of one of my companions, Prokash Das,3 and smiled at him joyfully.

“It looks as though I have located Kashi!”

I began to turn round and round, to the undisguised amusement of my friends and the passing throng. The electrical impulses tingled through my fingers only when I faced toward a near-by path, aptly named “Serpentine Lane.” The astral currents disappeared when I turned in other directions.

“Ah,” I exclaimed, “Kashi’s soul must be living in the womb of some mother whose home is in this lane.”

My companions and I approached closer to Serpentine Lane; the vibrations in my upraised hands grew stronger, more pronounced. As if by a magnet, I was pulled toward the right side of the road. Reaching the entrance of a certain house, I was astounded to find myself transfixed. I knocked at the door in a state of intense excitement, holding my very breath. I felt that the successful end had come for my long, arduous, and certainly unusual quest!

The door was opened by a servant, who told me her master was at home. He descended the stairway from the second floor and smiled at me inquiringly. I hardly knew how to frame my question, at once pertinent and impertinent.

“Please tell me, sir, if you and your wife have been expecting a child for about six months?”

“Yes, it is so.” Seeing that I was a swami, a renunciate attired in the traditional orange cloth, he added politely, “Pray inform me how you know my affairs.”

When he heard about Kashi and the promise I had given, the astonished man believed my story.

“A male child of fair complexion will be born to you,” I told him. “He will have a broad face, with a cowlick atop his forehead. His disposition will be notably spiritual.” I felt certain that the coming child would bear these resemblances to Kashi.

Later I visited the child, whose parents had given him his old name of Kashi. Even in infancy he was strikingly similar in appearance to my dear Ranchi student. The child showed me an instantaneous affection; the attraction of the past awoke with redoubled intensity.

Years later the teen-age boy wrote me, during my stay in America. He explained his deep longing to follow the path of a renunciate. I directed him to a Himalayan master who, to this day, guides the reborn Kashi.

Amazing video, Cat!

Thanks for posting it.

Hi Rad,

I have a question:

Since Pluto, the Soul, correlates to the RNA/DNA, and Saturn/Neptune to skin colouring, how can the Soul in that video who was Pam, a black American, in the previous life, can then be born as Luke, a white-skinned American, in the very next life?

The confusion lies in the interpretation of the 4th house representing our roots, ancestry, and where we spring from.  It is said that the line of ancestry is traced back to countless past generations.  It seems that the Soul can retain the one ancestral line for many generations and then suddenly change it.

Most traditional tribes live in the continual presence of the ancestors and expect their offerings and guidance. How can a Soul within a past life tribe/nationality that honours its genealogical memory and ancestral deities suddenly change its ancestry in the next life?  And how is this information passed down or stored in Pluto, the Soul?

DeoxyriboNucleic Acid (DNA)

Definition:  A nucleic acid that contains the genetic instructions used in the development and functioning of all modern living organisms. DNA's genes are expressed, or manifested, through the proteins that its nucleotides produce with the help of RNA.

Function:  The blueprint of biological guidelines that a living organism must follow to exist and remain functional. Medium of long-term, stable storage and transmission of genetic information.

Location:  DNA is found in the nucleus of a cell and in mitochondria.

RiboNucleic Acid (RNA)

Definition:  The information found in DNA determines which traits are to be created, activated, or deactivated, while the various forms of RNA do the work.

Function:  Helps carry out DNA's blueprint guidelines. Transfers genetic code needed for the creation of proteins from the nucleus to the ribosome.

Location:  Depending on the type of RNA, this molecule is found in a cell's nucleus, its cytoplasm, and its ribosome.

From JWG's "Medical Astrology"

Pluto/Scorpio correlates to genetic structures of life itself, including humans. Within this to the RNA/DNA chromosomes.
RNA/DNA = Pluto
RNA/DNA, coding of = Pluto
RNA/DNA, messaging of = Mercury
Mutations, evolution, death of the body, giving birth = Pluto
Skin pigmentation (melanin) = Saturn with co-ruler Neptune

Thank you,

Hi Linda,

The Soul is the determinant of what it needs evolutionarily and karmically in each life. It can very easily shift from one skin color to the next, or one gender to the next, if it so chooses. The very case that Cat has posted is evidence of that fact.

Hi Rad,

Thank you for your answer.  I have a few further questions.  I am trying to find out the truth.

If a Soul can choose whatever it needs for its evolution, including skin colour and race, what do we make then of one of the interpretations of the 4th house to Roots and Ancestry?  Even in the EA Glossary two of the keywords for Cancer/Moon/4th are Ancestry and Roots.

Many traditional astrologers, including some EA astrologers, speak as if the current life ancestral line is the ONE AND ONLY ancestral line.  Are you saying this is a false idea?

Can there be MORE THAN ONE ancestral line stored in the genetic code?

Thank you,

Any family has a lineage and ancestry that goes back many generations. A Soul chooses to be born into whatever family, in whatever life, that has such an ancestral lineage. However, that does not mean, of itself, that that is the actual lineage of the Soul itself as an individual Soul. It does mean that the Soul is choosing whatever family to be born into, in whatever life, for it's own ongoing evolutionary/ karmic needs that includes the 'his/herstory' of that family.

Many traditional astrologers, including some EA astrologers, speak as if the current life ancestral line is the ONE AND ONLY ancestral line.  Are you saying this is a false idea?

Could not be more wrong.

Can there be MORE THAN ONE ancestral line stored in the genetic code?

No. But there can be more than one ancestral line stored in the memory of the Soul itself. And, again, the case that Cat has posted reflects these facts/ truth.

Hi -

This is a beautiful documentary that speaks directly to the subject of reincarnation.

"The Buddhist concept of reincarnation, while both mysterious and enchanting, is hard for most westerners to grasp. UNMISTAKEN CHILD follows the four-year search for the reincarnation of Lama Konchog, a world-renowned Tibetan master who passed away in 2001 at age 84. The Dalai Lama charges the deceased monk’s devoted disciple, Tenzin Zopa (who had been in his service since the age of seven), to search for his master’s reincarnation."

Hi Emily,
Thanks for posting that link to that story. It is, indeed, strange that westerner's have such a hard time with something this is so real and natural especially considering that Jesus himself spoke about his own past life that remains to this day in one of the Gospels: the story of Elisha and Elijah.
