Good morning!  What resources does everyone use to figure out positions of the planets and signs for each house when creating a birth chart?  I would like to start by making my own birth chart so I can correlate it to what I'm reading in the books, but I don't know where to assemble the information to actually put the chart together.

Hi Angie,

That is a good way to start learning more about Astrology and yourself in the process.

There are many software programs that can make a chart based on your birth date, time and location. Some are free to demo. In the past people would make them by hand but now in the present day and age, they are mostly done by computers.

Many people also use a website that can generate birth charts. www.astro.com is the main one i know of, it´s free and very good. Just create an account and look around, you should be able to figure out how to create and see your chart.

If you need more help let me know.

All the best
