HI All,

As most of you are probably aware there is a serious problem on our planet relative to the vanishing of the bees.    If the bee disappeared off the surface of the globe then man would only have four years of life left. No more bees, no more pollination, no more plants, no more animals, no more man. The Canadian actress Ellen Page has taken this as her personal cause. Here is a link to the website that she has put together that has short video clips about what is happening, and how to get involved in this vital issue. Please help if you can. God Bless,Rad

Thanks Rad,
I think of this often

The tab on the Vanishing Bees website about "Bee Keeping" was about keeping bee colonies.

One thing I have been thinking about is the Mason Bee, which does not exist in colonies.
I have yet to hear of Mason Bees also vanishing.
Here is a link to making Mason Bee homes and some other info: http://diyrobj98168.blogspot.com/2008/08/how-to-make-mason-bee-houses.html
