Hi Gonzalo,

Generally the archetypes you are pointing out, and the manifestations of those archetypes, is correct. Remember what Jason said about the 'dual tracts' of her previous lives, and the reasons for this. However, the linkage to Aurobindo is not correct.

Hi Rad, I don't feel that I can gracefully do more than follow along at this time. I may end up posting anyway, but I think it's most honest if I ask not to wait for me for now. Thank you so much for this.

Hi Rad,
I am hoping to at least post some information in the next couple of days. Up until now I have not made the time to work on the transits (in part because I have been wrapping up the class I've been teaching this Fall Quarter) but feel that in the next couple of days I will have some time to at least get a few ideas together. I'll work on it and then post what I have when it seems you are ready to move on. As always, feel free to move on if necessary and I will be following along.  Thanks again to you, Rad, for all the time you have been putting into guiding us, and everyone for participating on this thread- this has been very interesting to me and a great learning experience. Love, Gray

Hi Rad and all,

Here is my work on the transits to Mother Teresa’s chart relative to some of the major events in her life.

September 10, 1946 – The “call within the call”

What is especially striking about this moment in Mother Teresa’s life is the large number of seventh-harmonic aspects formed by the nodal axis to natal planets in her chart.  Septiles and biseptiles by their nature refer to fated events and what we could call “course corrections” – moments that get the Soul back on track with the true nature of its mission in this life.  What better mirror of an experience where Mother Teresa said that she realized she needed to do a different form of service than that which she had already committed to.

The nodes at the time were again transiting her 6th and 12th houses – the South Node in Sagittarius in the 12th and the North Node in Gemini in the 6th, thereby activating old memories of lifetimes removed from the world and engaged in an internal search for the Truth.  In particular at this time, the Soul’s memories of prior lifetimes spent as a nun in the “mystic marriage” were being recalled with the disseminating phase biseptile to the 8th house Sun/Juno conjunction, which itself is conjunct the Mars, and the need for this pattern, having reached a kind of fullness in and of itself, to turn towards the original intention for service to the collective it was to fulfill.

The transiting North Node in Gemini in her 6th house correlates to the activation of a Soul intention, a “call”, to move out into the world and be connected directly with its people and to serve them in direct and practical ways.   The North Node was also at that time joined by Uranus, indicating an unconventionality and uniqueness of some kind relative to this service, and also a total change of direction in terms of how she would spend her day to day life, with the evolutionary intention of radically deconditioning from old definitions and ideas of “service,” to break free into a more applied, hands-on form of work.

Mother Teresa’s report was that she literally “heard” the call, that is, a message from Jesus instructing her of what she needed to do.  This is signified by the transiting North Node septile to Venus, both ruler of her natal north node as well as the significator of listening, as well as its biseptile to her natal Mercury, the significator of the actual anatomy of hearing.  This call thus got her back “on track” to the special destiny she was meant to fulfill, rather than just repeating the nun/mother superior pattern, and also shows how the past-life experiences of brief initiations and encounters represented by her Venus in the 8th in Leo, were carried in cellular memory and acted as a reminder of something special she was here to do.

At the same time, while the most apparent issues were those mentioned above, at a deeper level  other changes, the “actual issues” as JWG has taught relative to the transiting nodes, were being stimulated in Mother Teresa’s Soul.  These are shown by the natal position of the rulers of the transiting nodes; in this case, Jupiter in Libra in the 9th and Mercury in Virgo in the 9th.  Thus deep issues relative to Mother Teresa’s cosmology and philosophy, the literal question of the meaning of life, were activated.  It is known that as soon as she heard the call and began to follow it, then also began the long period of spiritual barrenness that she experienced.  And we can see the simultaneity of these experiences reflected in the transiting nodes and their natal rulers; what becomes apparent then is that the evolutionary purpose of the “call”, and of following the call, for Mother Teresa herself was to create the “trial of faith” (Jupiter in Libra 9th) and the ”test of doubt” (Mercury in Virgo 9th) that was totally essential for this Soul to learn to trust her own knowing and intuition and to overcome the deep Soul tendency reflected in her natal Pluto in the 7th Gemini to look outside herself for information and others’ rather than find her own internal experience and authority (PPP in 1st Sagittarius).  With natal Mercury and Jupiter in a balsamic relationship, this also shows that this process was in its final stages, and that the Soul was letting go of the last elements of its old cosmology, preparing itself for a whole new organizing spiritual cosmology in relatively soonafter lifetimes.

Finally, the significance of the call was to completely evolve and metamorphose the existing “form” of nunnery  which she had frequently pursued in previous incarnationsm, and create a whole new form based on bringing the heart and light into very dark places.  This was shown by transiting Pluto at the time of the call squaring her Saturn/Vesta/Moon conjunction, and conjunct her 8th house Venus in Leo.

August 15, 1928 – Final Resolution to be a Nun

Although this is going backwards in time, it is highly relevant also to consider that the first time the transiting nodes occupied Mother Teresa’s 6th and 12th houses also correlates to her first spiritual “call” as it were, the date that she reached her “final resolution” in her own words, to become a nun, while praying at a shrine in Letnice.  So again, the nodal axis and the position of its natal rulers, and the dynamics described relative to these, was active at this time.  However at this point during the first transit we see that instead of the many septiles/biseptiles, there are an inordinate amount of squares made by the transiting nodal axis.  This then was a time of action, of finding the initial forms that would enable her to pursue her destiny of service (6th house), the form of being a nun being shown by the square of the transiting nodal axis to her Sun/Juno/Mars in Virgo 8th/9th.  Of course this would also indicate the potential of skipping steps as a nun, unless ultimately integrated through truly being of service (6th house transiting north node as “resolution node”, how to integrate this potential splitting off).  The transiting nodes were also square to her natal skipped step Chiron and Pallas, showing that as she adopted this new form the key would be to integrate her feelings of emptiness and loss by experiencing a private deep knowing (transiting SN in Sagittarius 12th), versus simply go into business and trying to collect more information, as is this Soul’s compulsion (Pluto in Gemini).

In addition, this time, rather than transiting Uranus joining the transiting North Node in the 6th house, transiting Mars did so.  So here we see how the resolution to become a nun represented the leading edge and the action impulse necessary to set the Soul’s deepest desires in motion.

Finally the theme of squares to the nodes was also active in that the natal nodal axis was itself being squared by the transiting Sun, Moon, Mercury, and Neptune all in Leo in her 8th house that day, showing a deep and transformative spiritual impulse seeking to be incorporated into her lifepath at that point.  In addition, this also shows the potential for skipped steps to be developed if the path of the nun was taken – a clear risk that once again she would not attend to the self-confrontation and transformation, dealing with the dark, that was required of her, yet also a clear evolutionary intention to face that in its entirety, represented by the opposition of all these planets to her natal Chiron in Pisces, signature of her sense of emptiness that is natally square the nodes.

August 22, 1952 – The Nirmal Hriday Home for the Dying

The form of Mother Teresa’s service that she and her order became most well-known for was her care for the dying, and her founding of the Nirmal Hriday Home for the Dying was a key moment in the development of that service.  The chart of that moment is a remarkable one, with her natal nodal axis receiving a total of seven squares from transiting planets and points, including the transiting Pluto and the transiting nodes.  This is a huge statement about the centrality of this time for creating the forms relevant to her fulfillment of her own karmic mission.  And at the very same time, it is also a powerful statement about the possibility inherent of creating additional skipped steps for herself through the ways that she would provide care to the dying, and the potential heavy-handedness that many felt characterized her work (transiting Pluto conjunct SN in Leo 8th).

Transiting Pluto and the South Node in the 8th in Leo also correlates to her bringing her past experiences with death and trauma, so basic to many of her past lives (SN in Scorpio 11th), to bear in her caring for the dying and to her desire to bring heart and light to those dying.  The transiting North Node in the 2nd in Aquarius then correlates to establishing/building an unconventional base of operations for herself and her nuns.  At the same time, what is also active for Mother Teresa at this time is revealed once more by the natal positions of the rulers of the transiting nodes, in this case her Sun and Uranus.  Thus the forward direction of this moment was very much about the establishment of her own individuated and independent leadership (Uranus in Capricorn in the 1st), specifically concretized by creating a home for the dying (that Uranus in 1st quarter square with her natal Ceres in the 4th).  And the karma and past issues she was dealing with and growing away from through doing this was the Mother Superior and other such lifetimes (Sun, ruler of transiting SN, in Virgo 8th conjunct Juno in Virgo 8th and those widely conjunct Mars in Virgo 9th, representing her nun lifetimes as we have discussed).

In addition, transiting Mars and Jupiter were also conjunct and opposed her natal nodes.  Transiting Mars conjoined her South Node in Scorpio/11th, reflecting an emerging Soul desire to bring awareness to the issue of death and dying, and also to bring forward what she had learned in the various lifetimes lived more on the periphery in groups committed to deconditioning and raw experience; while transiting Jupiter conjoined her North Node in Taurus/5th, suggesting creating new meaning and values relative to the established forms of the convent.

Finally, it is also interesting to consider that at the time of the founding of her own order, the Missionaries of Charity, which occurred just a couple of years before on October 7, 1950, there was a set of squares to Mother Teresa’s natal Pluto very much like the set of squares to the natal nodal axis when the Home for the Dying was established – specifically it received squares from Mercury, Venus, Saturn, and the nodes.  The Homes of the Dying then might be seen to describe the particular vehicle for the execution of the Order’s deep Soul intentions, in the way that the nodal axis is the ego vehicle for the Soul’s deep desires represented by Pluto.

It is also interesting that Calcutta, the location of the first Home for the Dying and also the chosen home of Mother Teresa, correlates geodetically exact within a degree to Mother Teresa’s natal Pluto.

October 9, 1958 – The 5-week Reprieve

We have discussed extensively Mother Teresa’s doubt and spiritual/existential crisis that attended her nearly all her life.  Mother Teresa in her correspondence with her confessors noted that only one time in her life after the “call within the call” did she feel again the presence of Jesus, and this was in 1958, for five weeks following the death of Pope Pius who died on October 9.  I was very curious to know what might have been happening in her chart at that time.

In the first place, we find transiting Pluto at this time in Mother Teresa’s 8th house conjunct to her Sun/Juno in Virgo in the 8th, as well as opposite her Chiron in Pisces in the 2nd.  Thus a major metamorphosis was occurring within Mother Teresa during this period relative to her experiences as a nun and to her deep sense of aloneness and being on her own.  Her relationship with Pius was significant -- he was the Pope who authorized her to form the Missionaries of Charity, and then later it was he who she prayed to at his requiem and who in her view brought the light that appeared in the otherwise constant dark for those three months.

I was curious to understand more of the relationship between Mother Teresa and Pius XII, and I have attached a tri-wheel of her chart, his (without birth time), and their composite.  As I had mentioned in my analysis of Mother Teresa, it is likely that she had lifetimes where she became involved romantically and sexually with leaders of her spiritual communities (Jupiter in Libra 9th, also it is ruler of 12th; Mercury ruler of 7th in 9th; Mercury being the ruler of both 7th and 9th; Neptune in 7th).  It is intriguing to consider that Mother Teresa might have had such a relationship, of teacher/student and of romantic involvement, with Pius XII in prior lifetimes, and that this may have been strongly related to what took place for her when Pius died in this lifetime.  There are certainly synastry aspects pointing to this, such as his Pluto conjunct within a degree of her North Node and also conjunct her Moon, in her 5th house also connecting to romance; his SN exactly conjunct her Mercury in the 9th house, and her SN conjunct his Jupiter in Sagittarius, all suggesting teacher/student relationships.  The composite also points strongly to this possibility with the Sun, Pluto, Neptune, and Venus (ruler of its Libra NN) all conjunct in Gemini/6th and opposite Mercury in Sagittarius/12th – an intense, romantic union in a Judeo-Christian student/teacher context.  And as we have discussed, Mother Teresa did tend to apprentice herself to persons whose evolutionary condition was actually less advanced than her own.

In addition, I had also discussed how these relationships with teachers had brought the Soul a great deal of grief, loss, and trauma, including possibly the loss of children conceived together (Jupiter 9th opposite her Ceres 4th; Ceres 4th and Pluto 7th yod to her Scorpio 11th SN).  Here again the synastry connections speak to this possibility, with Pius’s Chiron exactly conjunct her Ceres; his Saturn exactly conjunct her Chiron and also opposing her Sun/Juno; and his Ceres conjunct her South Node.    In his own natal chart, he himself also has strong indications of an episode along these lines, with a grand cross involving a Pluto/Ceres opposition that is square to a Uranus/Mercury opposition – certainly a possible signature of sudden traumas relative to students in past lives, and to the Pluto/Ceres dynamic having become full-blown in relatively recent lifetimes.   Adding to this is their composite chart, which has among other things, Ceres square the nodes; a Saturn/Chiron conjunction conjunct Pius’s NN; and its North Node conjunct her Ceres and his Chiron.

Finally, it seems important to mention that Pius’s Lucifer is exactly conjunct by degree to Mother Teresa’s Ceres.  It is easy to imagine that this might mean he had a dark role relative to the Ceres episodes he may have been involved in in Mother Teresa’s past, especially when we also consider his SN exactly on her Mercury associated with her doubt complex, and his Saturn exactly on her Chiron associated with her feelings of emptiness and aloneness.  On the other hand it could also be that his Luciferic role was more light-bearing in this area, given that, in her view, he did "bring light" after she prayed to him following his death.  In any case correlates seem to be there that the Soul of Pius and the Soul of Mother Teresa may have had a history together, and that it could be related to her own past history of loss of children and involvements with spiritual leaders which are themselves connected in her chart.

To return to the transits relative to all this, at the time of Pius’s death, the transiting nodes were on the Jupiter/Ceres opposition in Mother Teresa’s chart, with the SN conjunct her Ceres and the NN conjunct her Jupiter, stimulating her public recognition of him as a religious leader, but also her deep private grief relative to him.  The transiting Sun, Mercury, Venus, and Ceres were all also conjunct that Jupiter, again suggesting a strong correlation to the potential past romance and loss between them that would have been activated for Mother Teresa during this time.  In addition, with the transiting nodes in Aries/Libra, we can again look to the natal positions of their rulers, Mars and Venus, in Mother Teresa’s chart.  They are in balsamic condition, meaning that in this lifetime she was tying up loose ends with Souls she had known in intimate contexts before, and this would be up for her in some way any time that the transiting nodes were in Libra/Aries as they were at this time.  Pius also had his Mars/Venus in balsamic phase, as did their composite chart, which would suggest a certain kind of mutual understanding of "letting go" and also perhaps literally letting go of each other.

Whatever the specifics may have been, it does seem that his death would have been very significant: involving great grief and a letting-go process, perhaps for the final time.  At the same time, the transits also speak to profound liberation.  The liberation appears through the aspecting of the Mystic Rectangle in Mother Teresa’s natal chart.  The rectangle involves the opposition of her 1st house Uranus in Capricorn and her 7th house Neptune in Cancer, in trine/sextile to her 11th house SN in Scorpio and her 5th house NN/Moon/Lucifer in Taurus.  Adina had quoted this from Dane Rudhyar about the Mystic Rectangle in an article somewhere on this site:  “Unlike the Grand Cross or Square, the Rectangle points in a certain direction and presents a challenge for a particular kind of integration. The rectangular shape was used in many temples and chambers of initiation, and the buildings themselves were built to symbolize the process of transition from one stage of personal-spiritual unfoldment to the next - the fulfillment of a great goal. Seen on the vertical plane, the rectangle becomes a DOOR, something to pass thru to enter a new realm."

To me, this Mystic Rectangle is about the major dilemma in Mother Teresa’s life of projecting God outside herself, and setting up an inherent polarization between her natural instinctual desire to individuate and be herself (Uranus in 1st), and her difficulty to experience Spirit and particularly the nurturing aspect of the divine (Neptune in Cancer) – a privilege for other people but not for herself.  At the time of Pius’s death, and during the course of her “reprieve,” the transiting nodal axis activated this rectangle, squaring her natal Uranus and Neptune almost exactly.  Thus, what seems to have happened during this five week period was, rather than a door as yet, at least a window, a glimpse of what was to come for her when she was able to integrate these issues more effectively in her life.

September 5, 1997 – Death

Finally I would like to discuss the transits at the time of Mother Teresa’s death.  It is interesting to note that Mother Teresa died just three days after a partial solar eclipse: a great light removed from the world.  (Interestingly, Princess Diana, who was born almost exactly one Chiron cycle after Mother Teresa, died three days before the same eclipse; for our Sabian fans, the symbol of the eclipse degree was “Two Heads Looking Out and Beyond The Shadows”.)   The eclipse took place in her 9th house, conjunct her Mars, and the Sun itself was exactly conjunct her Mars on the day of her death.  This suggests that she had made use of her Mars to live out her life purpose (Sun), that her life had cohered and integrated in her death according to her own desire nature (Mars).   Pluto had also just completed a long-term transit of her natal South Node, and this speaks to her completion, prior to her death, of major karmic business.  Then that Pluto also had just entered her 12th house, demonstrating that her experience of the release from life would be in itself a transformative experience.

The transiting nodes in the 3rd and 9th houses had likewise just completed a long arc over the Mercury in her chart, so central in the experience of doubt that she struggled with in this lifetime and which was central to her path in this lifetime (through its 1st quarter square and rulership of Pluto), suggesting that she had come through another bout of deep guilt just before her death, and gotten through it.  This was likely a very intense experience for her, as her natal Mercury was also stimulated due to its rulership of the transiting node.  Her natal 7th house Neptune was likewise stimulated in this way, meaning that her longing for God “out there” was quite palpable during this nodal transit.

Finally it is also notable that transiting Chiron was partile trine her natal Chiron, suggesting that at the time of her death there was an opportunity for consciousness and awareness relative to the entire experience of her wound of emptiness and aloneness that was so powerfully strong for her almost all of her life, and that was the skipped step she would work in this lifetime to resolve (though still more work to come it seems).

But by far what was most striking to me in the transits to her natal chart at the time of her death is the beautiful transformation, through the transiting nodal axis, of Mother Teresa’s Mystic Rectangle into a Star of David.  I have attached a copy of this simplified transit chart below, because of its sheer beauty.  It is absolutely breathtaking to me to see in these symbols an archetypal expression of the last moments of Mother Teresa’s life which Rad you shared with us.  Right down to the last breath (Uranus) and the incoming of Spirit (Neptune), long projected outside the self (7th).  Again I would offer this quote about the Mystic Rectangle, that it symbolized “the process of transition from one stage of personal-spiritual unfoldment to the next - the fulfillment of a great goal. Seen on the vertical plane, the rectangle becomes a DOOR, something to pass thru to enter a new realm."

And so she did.

God bless,
Jason

Hi Rad,
Does it make sense to consider the phases of the aspects that transiting planets make to natal placements, or only if they are applicative or separative?
Thanks so much

Hi Jason,

Simply exceptional EA work on the key transits for Mother Teressa's life and death. Your work reflects exactly how EA is meant to be practiced, and understood.

Bravo !!

Hi Mirta and Heather,

Go ahead and post when you can. I will read them of course, and post my comments. Mirta, yes the transiting phases of the aspects made to the natal planets by the transiting planets is exactly the way to understand and apply.

Hi Rad, and group

I’m posting my review of the transits for one of the events in Mother Teressa’s life …. Next week I will be able to pick another one for further analysis, if there’s still time for that in the context of this thread.

Thanks so much, and God Bless,

With love,

Gonzalo

26 September 1928 – Teressa Leaves her home and family in Skopje to become a nun

Transiting Pluto forms a Disseminating trine with the natal South Node (entering the 5° orb). Pluto has moved from the natal Full phase inconjunct to the South Node from Gemini in the 7th House, and now forms a Disseminating trine to the natal South Node. Same time, transiting Pluto is Balsamic conjunct natal Neptune in the 7th House Cancer and approaching the opposition to natal Uranus 1st House Capricorn, within the Gibbous phase. These symbols imply that the Soul is consciously aware and totally embracing its desires to give to others based on the pre-existing orientation to giving to others, ie. with the intention to create some liberation through some type of knowledge, ie. education. This past orientation has become conscious along Teressa’s childhood. At age 12 she was convinced already she wanted to be a nun, and before being 18 she took the final resolution to do so. Now Teressa would feel totally prepared to disseminate the intention within society.

The ‘call within the call’ has not been heard yet, so Teressa is not aware of the specific intention that will allow the metamorphosis of the existing limitations in the prior ways of giving. Her Soul still needs to culminate the prior dynamics, in order to culminate the misrepresentation of self and others that was implied in the prior dynamics (transiting Pluto applying to natal Neptune 7th House Cancer), thus creating the need to still be totally identified with the dream (Neptune), and to be full of sense of social purpose, having the expanded capacity to link the sense of self and the existing ways and requirements of the society, as were identified in the past (Disseminating trine to the South Node 11th House, relative to natal Pluto in Gemini in the 7th House). Thus, Teressa’s joining the Loreto Sisters, who taught the English language to children at schools, because she wanted to learn the English … but being destined within two months to Calcutta (since early childhood she was attracted to Bengala and the stories about the missionaries there).

Pluto is still within a 5° orb after the exact square to natal Jupiter, within the Last Quarter phase. This reflects a crisis in beliefs manifesting in current lifetime of Teressa, crisis in consciousness (Last Quarter), in which she become consciously aware of the inner conflict based on wanting to serve God and not having faith, and not knowing what to believe. At same time, triggering the desire to expand (Jupiter 9th House) the current philosophical and experiential horizons in direction to the unconditioned (Last Quarter), in order to liberate from the limitations implied in the existing philosophies, the intention being to find from within an individualized and non-conditioned response. Thus, being destined to a place like Calcutta, ie. a totally different culture relative to the culture of birth, and also a place of intense cultural and religious mixture and struggle along the centuries. Transiting Pluto is conjunct natal Neptune, which is in Cancer, ruled by the Moon Taurus 5th House. Transiting Pluto is exactly sextile this Moon. This reinforces the level in which she is totally involved in actualizing and manifesting the social role she consciously identifies with, as a manifestation of how past life memories have evolved during childhood allowing for a re-investment on inner of the images of self which have been a past source of conflict and unresolved pain.

With Pluto approaching to oppose Uranus in Capricorn, repressed memories including memories from prior lifetimes would be erupting into conscious awareness. All the unresolved emotional states associated with these memories would be also manifesting (transiting Pluto conjunct natal Neptune in Cancer). Though, at same time having the possibility or the need to detach to some degree from the intensity of those emotional states, including unresolved disillusionment, grief, and rage, ie. (the prior response- South Node 11th House Scorpio) which would intensify the prior intellectual focus (teaching, learning languages, identifying herself at an intellectual level) as connected to personal purpose, and being actualized by means of tremendous courage (she was only 18 years old when she left her home…) and personal will via the natal Moon in the 5th House, in Taurus, the north node ruler in Leo 8th House … At same time, because the sextile between natal Moon and transiting Pluto is within the Crescent phase, having at least the opportunity to become aware that deeper levels of the inner call would be revealed.

Transiting Neptune in the 8th House formed a trine to the Pluto polarity point in the 1st House Sagittarius, ruled by Jupiter 9th House which is squared by transiting Pluto, conjunct natal Neptune, which trines the 11th House South Node. This reflects how the call within the call is implied in the journey Teressa is beginning, and that, however, she would most likely identify the intention from the point of view of the prior responses, even though intensifying the crisis in belief. Also, that the unresolved emotional states are being projected on other people at large, igniting the desires to give to others what she feels/thinks they need. Transiting Neptune is now at 0° Virgo within the natal 8th House, thus, re-stating the crisis in beliefs and the need to discriminate within the nature of the own intentions, motivations, agendas and dynamics, and reflecting the orientation that will be induced and will emerge later toward the poorest people among the poor, the suffering and the sick. Same time, these symbols reflect again the inner confusion and doubt.

Transiting Neptune makes an opposition to the skipped steps Chiron/Pallas in the 2nd House Pisces. Transiting Ceres is conjoining the natal Chiron/Pallas, while transiting Pluto is entering the 5° orb to a square to the natal Ceres in the 4th House Aries. Thus, the decision to leave her mother and family for the sake of a call which she needed to embrace, even though Teressa could be consciously aware of this call-relative to past conditioning-only at a level which the call in itself implied the past futility, and the response to overcome the futility by means of detachment, projection, or willful egocentric assertion based on beliefs, leading to creative self-actualization based on recreation of past forms (transiting Pluto is Crescent phase quintile to natal Saturn and Last Quarter quintile to Mercury).

At same time, the intensity of the emotional states that would be triggered by these transits reflecting an emphasized empathy, by and the experiences to come, having the intention to allow the metamorphosis of self image in alignment with her inherent emotional nature. Thus directly heading without knowing towards the direct experience of the overwhelming suffering of people at levels where beliefs themselves are futile, where all that can be given is care, love and at times some compassionate wisdom beyond any doctrine. Transiting Pluto is conjunct the north nodes of Jupiter and Pluto 7th House Cancer.

The nodal axis is transiting Gemini/Sagittarius within the natal 12th/6th Houses and about to enter (within two days from her day of departure from her home) the natal 11th/5th Houses (North Node in the 6th/5th House Gemini, South Node in the 12th/ 5th House Sagittarius), activating the natal rulers Jupiter 9th House Libra and Mercury 9th House Virgo. The transiting nodal axis is squaring the Chiron/Pallas natal conjunction in Pisces in the 2nd House. Transiting North Node is forming a trine to natal Mercury in the 9th House Virgo. These symbols indicate that the evolutionary skipped steps are being recreated, that the potential that desires to serve God and others (6th House) are being linked with prior modes of operation. The intention of these transits through the 12th/6th Houses was to create an inner focus allowing the necessary analysis of the inner world of images, illusions and dreams, and translated into the resolution to become a nun, ie. actualizing herself through a personal role and purpose (North Node entering the 5th House).

Transiting Mars is exactly conjunct Pluto 7th House Gemini, still within the Balsamic phase, reflecting the ongoing desire to bring fundamental dynamics to culmination, and the confusion (Balsamic) implied in the ways she is identifying her role in relation to others on intellectual basis. Transiting Jupiter is Rx in Taurus in the natal 5th House, making a Last Quarter square to the natal 8th House Venus, from the natal 4th House. Transiting Jupiter is exactly conjunct transiting Chiron, which is also squaring natal Venus within the Last Quarter phase, Venus being the ruler of the natal North Node, thus reflecting the inner wound, pain and suffering, that are being experienced, and the compensatory response based on needing to rely on the pre-existing philosophical/theological identifications and associations. Transiting Venus/Mercury are trining natal Pluto from the natal 10th House Libra, reflecting how he desires at this point are linked with existing structures which would serve for her work along twenty years to come, until the call within the call is made conscious (1946) and implemented (1948).

The day young Teressa departed from the natal home in Skopje the transiting Moon was in Aquarius, in Teressa’s natal 2nd House, and that day formed a transiting square to the natal nodes. This reflects the emotional detachment and alienation implied, the felt need to be self-assured in relation to the journey she was beginning, and also that she embarked on this travel with a friend.
