Karmic relationship

Hi All,
I read from old message board,Jeffery taught that to stop repeating the patterns to pay our karma,"the very best thing to do is not to react at all and to involve oneself in the agni ritual that will severe the karmic umbibilical cord that has kept the tow people going around in this karmic dance.
I wonder if it's the only way...?If the hurt person choose to forgive,and both of them choose to make new choice,would the karmic pattern stop?
When learning EA,I also find it really hard to tell which choice is the "new choice"we should make in this life,when we repeat past life patterns.I.e,in a karmic relationship we carried from past live,is the new choice to leave,or to forgive and make it better together?

Hi Wei,

He wrote that in the context of two people who could not stop going around and around with one another. If in fact the two people involved is such a dance mutually accept the responsibility in their own actions then the karmic past that has dictated the dance is over.
