When a person's chart shows Mercury NOT to be retrograde, how does one give analysis to a progressed Mercury that goes retrograde at the age of , (in this case) fourteen years of age ? It will not go direct until 2016 for this person - roughly around the age of 35. Do we look at these years that the Mercury is in Retrograde as years where the individual has withdrawn from seeking information from outword authorities or is in general not interested in taking in new info ? The latter would seem not to be the case from what I am witnessing in the persons chart.

Thanks

Again, we need to look at the whole chart in order to understand the individual reality/ context of each Soul. Pulling out one little sliver like this is not the correct way to do EA. And not just the whole chart but the specific Evolutionary condition, stage, development of each Soul. Merc R, when going retro, for a period of time in the Soul's life, GENERALLY means focusing on information that the Soul in interested in, and no more.
