Hi Cat,

Your EA work in this segment of Neptune relating it to the dynamics of deception by way of using Crowely as the example is just correct and exceptional work. Using his own life as the context of the symbols in his birth chart to illustrate exactly how the dynamics of deception manifested in the all the ways that you illustrated is as exacting as it is correct EA work.

You then pondered a question that occurred to you because of what Kristin wrote: "I'm pondering on this as other people don't normally take well to having their impurities exposed. I'm wondering if evolved souls have a gentle way of doing this or if it depends on the individual. It's an interesting concept.  Thinking about Jesus, he was very good at this.  JWG did this via EA.  It's been a very long time since I read Yogananda's biography (I did try to re-read it a few months ago, but didn't get very far).

I'm not sure where I am going with this, as I don't have a specific question, but if anyone wants to expound on it a bit, that would be cool.  I think I want to know why its an evolved soul's role to point out another's faults.  I assume in order to help them evolve. As you can see, I am having a discussion with myself, and if any one cares to join in, feel free  :-)"

When evolved Souls are required because of the nature of lives being lead to 'expose the impurities' in others in order to help them evolve they do this in direct relationship to the NATURE of the Soul's involved. Some require true Scorpio like shocks , others a very, very gentle way, and others a combination in varying degrees of both.

Your EA understanding and work in this segment Cat is just exceptional.

BRAVO !!

Hi Ari,

Your EA work on this segment of Neptune involving the dynamics of deception by way of the life, birth chart of Hubbard, IS VERY, VERY CLEAR !! His life is such a perfect and sad example of just how a Soul can construct a 'reality' that is entirely created by illusion/ delusion all leading to self deception manifesting as deceiving others as well. By exampling all the symbols you have in his chart to illustrate just how the dynamics of deception manifest, and lying/ manipulating as well, is truly exceptional and masterful EA work.

It is CLEAR !

BRAVO ARI !!

Hi Ari, Kristin, Linda, Skywalker and Cat

I want to thank you all for the time you have taken to work on this segment of Neptune. All of your work is truly exceptional and masterful work in EA that will help all others who come to read this thread about Neptune lean about. All of you are true ambassadors for EA !

If you have any questions please ask them of me know.

Tomorrow or the next day we will begin work on the next segment of our ongoing understanding of the archetypes that correlate with Neptune, Pisces, and the 12th House.

Hi Everyone,

Again, I enjoyed reading everyone's work.  What a wealth of material.  It was all interesting, to say the lease.

Rad, thank you for commenting on the way in which some people need to receive feedback from more evolved souls.  It made perfect sense.

Ari, this is likely the last time I will mention or even think about Crowley again, but, as you may have discovered as well, he and Hubbard crossed paths and he was a follower of Crowley's.

Thanks to everyone for sharing by participating!

Thank you so much Rad for the space you are holding here and the encouraging feedback you are offering all of us.

Cat and everyone - I did not know the extent to which Crowley was an inspiration for Hubbard. So interesting. Thought I'd share these links here since we both addressed these 2 souls who were contemporaries of one another:

This is a snippet of some testimonies from Hubbard's son about his father and how Hubbard regarded Crowley. http://www.bible.ca/scientology-satanism-Hubbard-jr.htm

And some history and really telling quotes about Hubbard's relationship with Crowley:

Hi Ari, Kristin, Linda, Cat, Skywalker and anyone else who wishes to join in ...

In this next segment on Neptune we will focus on what JWG called the 'god complex'.

One of the archetypes of Neptune correlates to what we can call the 'god complex' wherein the egocentric structure of the Soul can inflate itself, like blowing air into a balloon, to the point of given itself delusions of egocentric grandeur wherein it convinces itself that is has a 'mission' from on high to bring to the world at large in general, and specific communities of people specifically. This is what the German philosopher Nietzsche called 'Zarathustra's" or super-humans.

These Souls thus consider themselves as above and beyond most other humans who are, through implication, inferior to their inner delusions of being superior. These types will then construct and inner language within themselves, delusional, in which they convince themselves that they have some ultimate or superior mission to accomplish that is to benefit the whole in general, and their specific communities of people in which have focused their personal MISSION FROM ON HIGH upon. These communities of people can be anything: the world of art, music, politics, astrology, technologies of all kinds, and so on. And, again, these types of Souls create a language within themselves that reflects these delusions of grandeur, the god complex. Such language can be things like 'I am a being of light' who desires to be in in communion with other 'beings of light', or "God has told me to do the following', 'my authority comes from God", and so on.

Of course human history is full of these types in all fields of endeavor. Insane asylums house Souls who have convinced them self that they are God or variations of God. And these types of Souls all to often use God as their ultimate rational for doing what they do: from the serial killer, political figures, religious figures, to all kinds of unseen humans in their ordinary lives. In other words in worlds large and small the the ego's of these types of Souls can operate in this way. And when they are confronted by anyone who does not agree with their egocentric delusions of grandeur by way of the god complex they will try to attack and destroy. They all to often create the psychology as a result of the god complex of being a victim to forces of 'persecution' who they convince them selves of are trying to destroy whatever their delusional mission from God is about. All to often they then delude themselves into thinking that 'no one understands me'. When they feel victimized in this way they will then, all to often, resort to creating imaginary realities that are projected onto those forces or others who they judged as to be undermining their god complex, their mission from on high.

Such Souls all to often have a deep inner sense of powerlessness, of being 'nothing', of an inner existential void, of inferiority that then compensates for this by way of blowing into the ego balloon these delusions of egocentric grandeur. In turn this then manifests as a deep Soul desire to be recognized for just how wonderful and special they are.

In lesser degrees any Soul can become intoxicated with itself after some degree of external recognition for something that it has done. The musician who is suddenly famous, the artist, the writer, the actor, the banker, etc, etc that can then lead to ego inflation's. In so doing they then become superior to others. This is a natural 'temptation' that can occur to a Soul and the ego it creates where temptation as an archetype is Scorpio, 8th house, and Pluto which form a natural trine to Pisces, the 12th House, and Neptune. When this happens such a Soul and it's ego will, at some point, create the necessary crisis that has the intended affect of humiliating the ego to remind the Soul that God is the origin of all things: not the Soul and it's pathetic ego.

This temptation of the Soul to glorify itself through it's egocentric structure is further symbolized With the North Node of Neptune being in Leo for all Souls on Earth. One of the core archetypes of Leo is to creatively actualize and give purpose to the current life of the Soul. It is ruled by the Sun which of course is the center of our galaxy. So we can then symbolically see that the temptation of the Soul to glorify itself, to consider itself special, to have some degree of the god complex is reflected in this N.Node of Neptune being in Leo. The Soul and it's ego then considers itself to be the center of all things in which the rest of life is nothing more than props in it's personal play: life. Props to be used for it's own purposes which are rooted in the god complex in some way. Thus, to become some kind of icon in it's own way. Such Soul's have forgotten that our galaxy is of course only a tiny part of the totality of the entire Universe: the S.Node of Neptune being in Aquarius for us all.

A Soul that is truly God inspired, who is in alignment with the inner godhead, will never desire to draw attention to itself, it's ego. Such a soul will always deflect any kind of acclaim: back to God and/ or others who may have helped in whatever it is that has drawn attention to the Soul/ ego for what it has done. Such Souls manifest a sincere and real humility because they are inwardly defined by much larger wholes than them self, wholes in which they are only one part. Not THE part, but one part. One of the stories I remember about JWG is that so many people wanted to project some kind of 'guru' status upon him wherever he went or was. One of the things he would do in order to stop this was to smoke cigarettes. When he would deliberately light up a cigarette in front of such people he said you could literally see these projections become instantly deflated which, he confided, he took some degree of actual glee in.

As he often said Souls that actually 'have it' don't want it or even realize that which they have, and Soul's that don't have it want it in such a way as wanting to put neon lights around their names: the god-complex. Egocentric delusions of grandeur.

Beyond the individual this god complex can manifest in whole groupings of people, communities, as well as whole countries where such countries or communities hold some kind of conception of 'God' that is the ONLY CORRECT conception of God. When this is then linked to the human Soul's need to feel secure where security is a function of self-consistency we can now understand how 'God' has been used to purposefully destroy other humans, other communities, as well as whole countries. And this is done, always, IN THE NAME OF GOD. 'God' now becomes a WEAPON OF DESTRUCTION. We will go into this further later on in this thread.

For now we will focus on the individual Soul. When this archetype of Neptune, the god complex, is activated it will manifest through the house and sign of the natal Neptune, and the aspects that it is making to other planets. In the past, prior lives, it can be seen through the S.Node of Neptune by house and sign locality, and the placement of it's planetary ruler by it own house and sign, and the aspects that it is making to other planets. When this archetype is active the N.Node of Neptune by house, sign, and the location of it's planetary ruler will correlate to the future directions of this god complex that are integrated and given purpose in the context of the current life.

So in this segment feel free to do an EA analysis of the 'god complex' using these symbols of Neptune, it's Nodes, it's planetary rulers, the 12th House, and the location of the sign Pisces in a birth chart in anyway that you feel drawn to do.

If you have any questions please ask them of me now. January 27th will be the due date for this segment.

God Bless, Rad

Hi Group,

Below is an article from America that illustrates the archetype we are now discussing: the god complex. This article illustrates the traumatic and deranged fact of how humans use "god" to justify whatever it that they do that actually masks, an illusion performed like magic tricks, the actual reality and agenda's of those that do this. For those in America simply remember the creation of the "Doctrine Of Manifest Destiny" that was used to justify the genocide of the native American Indians so that the Caucasians could take over: the 'god" given right to do so.  In the USA chart it has, yes, Neptune in Virgo in the 5th House, trining it's Pluto in Capricorn in the 9th. Remember Capricorn, Saturn, and the 10th house also correlate to the 'races' with the human types on our planet. So here we can seem the symbols involved that reflect this delusional insanity. This doctrine became official in 1884 with Neptune transiting in Taurus in the USA'S TWELFTH HOUSE, and forming a trine to it's natal Neptune.

Arizona Republicans Propose Bill That Would Allow Them To Break Any Law

By: Rmuse

It is beyond dispute that throughout world history most of the atrocities on the human race were committed in the name of religion whether it was the Holocaust, Crusades, Inquisition, witch hunts, or near extermination of aboriginal people by Christian imperialists. Conservatives and their Republican facilitators attack women’s rights and persecute the gay community in the name of religion and claim they are protected by the First Amendment’s freedom to exercise religion as they see fit. The judicial system is being inundated with cases of anti-gay discrimination and attempts to control women under the guise of religious freedom, and if Arizona Republicans are successful a new bill will give any Arizonan the right to break any law with impunity if it is in the name of religion.

The piece of legislation that passed out of the Arizona state senate committee this week, S.B. 1062, allows discrimination against gays for any reason if it is founded on a religious belief. The bill is sponsored by Republican Steve Yarborough, who attempted to legalize discrimination last year, and it was described then by The New Civil Rights Movement as the religious “stand your ground” law, but it is much worse than religious license to discriminate. In Yarborough’s bill, the definition of “exercise of religion means PRACTICE OR OBSERVANCE OF RELIGION, INCLUDING THE ability to act or refusal to act in a manner substantially motivated by a religious belief, whether or not the exercise is compulsory or central to a larger system of religious belief.” It is precisely the argument Hobby Lobby is using to refuse birth control coverage for women and Utah is using to deny same-sex couples equal protection under the law to marry the person they love.

On its face, SB 1062 appears to give Arizona residents and businesses legal cover to refuse service to anyone for any reason, but it is far-reaching in its scope including extending First Amendment religious protections by “expanding the definition of person to include any individual, association, partnership, corporation, church, estate, trust, foundation or other legal entity.” The bill eliminates the Constitution’s equal rights protections and is a “get of jail” free card for anyone who does anything in the name of religion. It will not end with protecting Christians who discriminate against the LGBT community, or shielding Christian employers who withhold contraception coverage in health plans.

Yarborough’s legislation is the ultimate “conscience clause” because it gives any individual, church, business, medical professional, trust or estate, or simple association legal protection to discriminate against anyone if they claim doing so is part of their religious belief. What it means is if a business owner is opposed to gays and a couple walks into his restaurant, he can refuse to serve them, physically assault them, and literally throw them out of his establishment if he claims “the bible made him do it.” Yarborough’s legislation means he cannot be prosecuted for assault, discrimination, or violating the Constitution if he claims he was exercising religion. However, it will not stop there. For example, if a homeowner’s association wants to keep non-white people from moving into their neighborhood they could ban realtors from selling or renting homes to minorities, or evict minorities from their homes on grounds that African Americans, Asians, or Hispanics living in their vicinity violates their First Amendment free exercise of religion.

The Arizona legislation, if it becomes law, would effectively void the Constitution’s equal rights protections, eliminate anti-discrimination laws, and restrict the religious freedom of non-Christians just to name a few. It would give any entity, business, trust, or association the right to refuse to serve members of other religions, or ban them from a city if city leaders said it was against their religion to allow other faiths inside city boundaries. It is by no means a stretch of the imagination to believe that an Arizona citizen, business, church, association, or militia group would follow the bible’s commandment to stone gays or murder unmarried women cohabitating with a man if they knew citing religious freedom protected them from prosecution. The bill ultimately protects any religious person or group from arrest or prosecution for any heinous act if they claimed allowing someone to exercise their Constitutional right inhibited their exercise of religion. If the legislation becomes law it means religion is a “get out of jail” free card or legal justification to break any law including murder or violating the Constitution if it is founded on their religious belief.

Yarborough’s legislation is the iteration of what the religious right has been attempting to do for the past thirty years since Reagan gave them power to affect legislation to follow the bible. S.B. 1062 is the law Christians lust for to replace the Constitution that prohibits Christian extremists from imposing their will on the entire population under the guise of “religious liberty.” This is not the first time Yarborough has introduced legislation giving “religious license to discriminate against gays,” and he told a reporter he is very aware that “his bill could be used to discriminate against not only gay people, but also unmarried women, or people with different religious beliefs,” or that it “could actually allow religion to be used to justify breaking any law in Arizona.”

According to Yarborough, his bill does not infringe on people’s rights. He claims it is no different than pharmacists who are protected from dispensing the “morning after pill to women if it violates their religious beliefs,” but it is too far-reaching in its scope and literally legalizes any action, whether discrimination or biblical stoning, if the person or group of persons claims it is part of their “exercise of religion.” It is the kind of law the religious right pants over to give them authority to rule by theocracy, and an indication of what they have in mind when they say it is long-past time to revisit the First Amendment and clarify what “free exercise” of religion means.

Last year Arizona Governor Jan Brewer vetoed an identical Yarborough bill as part of her vendetta against the legislature for not passing a budget, but with no vendetta on the horizon, there is a very good possibility Brewer will sign the bill into law when it passes the Arizona legislature again. Americans would be foolish to think that Yarborough’s legislation will not catch on in other states. It is important to remember that Arizona is by no means the most religious state in the Union, and the idea behind his bill is the impetus for the Hobby Lobby case due to be ruled on by the Supreme Court this year, as well as the Utah Mormon appeal to continue its ban on same-sex marriages. The religious right has spent the past five years arguing that their Constitutional freedom to exercise religion includes forcing compliance with bible edicts on the rest of the population, and if any American thinks it will end with Christians banning contraception or same-sex marriage, they have not been paying attention to calls to revert to biblical punishment for any number of scriptural violations.

The Constitution is clear that government cannot infringe on any Americans’ right to exercise religion, but the religious rights wants to alter definition of “exercise religion” to give them legal cover to infringe on every other Americans’ right to their Constitutional protections. There is no good outcome of legislation like Arizona’s SB 1062, and no American should be deluded that extremists would stop at taking religious license to discriminate against gays, because the Christian bible is rife with atrocities against the human race. With protection from prosecution based on free exercise of religion, and a religious text full of commands to exterminate non-believers, the bible is just the guide Christian fundamentalists will use to stone gays, women, and members of other religions if one horrifying Arizona bill catches on in truly religious states, and replaces the Constitution.

I was thinking about Rad's post about Arizona Republicans earlier.  I don't think Arizona Republicans are the only ones with this problem.  I see it everywhere, on all levels. Its not a Republican vs Democrat
issue, Liberal vs Conservative, or even confined to politics and religion.  It seems like a large percentage of people living on earth right now have a "God Complex" to one degree or another.  It seems that a lot of people think they know what is best for everyone and either try, or support others who are trying, to repress other people's freedom by creating laws and social stigmas.

I watched Patrica Walsh's "Generations" yesterday afternoon.  Patricia talked about Pluto generations.  I am thinking about this God-complex thing and thinking it would be interesting to study from a generational p.o.v. (Neptune generations).  Of course, that would take more than two weeks.

In the meantime, I ran across an interesting blog post I'd like to share:

Does racism correlate with Capricorn/Saturn/10th and, if it does could you explain why?

Thank you

Hi Cat,

Relative to the God complex you see so many people have, I believe it has to do with what Rad wrote here:

"Such Souls all to often have a deep inner sense of powerlessness, of being 'nothing', of an inner existential void, of inferiority that then compensates for this by way of blowing into the ego balloon these delusions of egocentric grandeur. In turn this then manifests as a deep Soul desire to be recognized for just how wonderful and special they are."

In my understanding, so many people are disconnected from truth and therefore feel an underlying insecurity relative to what they really are and feel disconnected from the world around them which, is a contributing factor leading to the feeling of powerlessness Rad described. Couple this with the Patriarchal, over dominating way of life that so many promote, and it seems normal that people adhere to such illusions in order to feel secure and a sense of power, by controlling others, having social status/authority etc... vs feeling vulnerable and powerless.

Hi Skywalker,

Yes it does. First, the races of people and their skin colors are reflected in the pigmentation of their skin where skin correlates to Saturn, the 10th House, and Capricorn. That pigmentation is caused by a hormone called melanin. This hormone correlates to Neptune, Pisces, and the 12th house which is then co-ruled with Saturn, Capricorn and the 10th House.

An underlying dynamics in all people is one of needing to feel secure: Cancer, Moon, the 4th House. A core dynamic in most humans isto feel secure. To be secure for most people is to self-consistent. Each race can then feel threatened by other races because each race of people correlate with their own uniqueness defined by that race. That uniqueness in turn creates a psychological and emotional sense of being different as judged, Capricorn, the 10th House, and Saturn, by each race towards all other races. Each race does this. That unique difference then creates a psychological/ emotional sense of being insecure by the sheer presence of other races as judged from within each race towards other races. Those unique and inherent differences then creates a sense of insecurity within race because of the difference of the races.

This then becomes the basis of racism that needs to stamp out the differences of the races in order to feel secure within it's own race, it's own SKIN. When this natural differences among the races is then further combined with whatever the cosmologies are, their DEFINITIONS OF GOD, this underlying dynamic of insecurity becomes magnified to the point psychological extremity within those that commit racism. An evil example of this would be Hitler and the Jews. Hitler's Pluto was conjunct his Neptune in the 8th, S.Node in Capricorn in the 3rd, which was then ruled by his Saturn in Leo in the 10th. So he made scapegoats of the Jews because of their race which was then used to fuel his delusions of egocentric grandeur, the God complex, by way the Nationalism that he created for the German race of people who were considered superior by him, and the German themselves people by extension. In turn this then created the rationalizations for the wholesale persecution of the Jews, Gypsies, and all others who were considered to be the undesirables where undesirables were created and judged against the standard of "Arian" perfection.

Lost in racism is the fact that all humans are created by the same SOURCE.

Rad,

Thank you again and it´s funny you wrote about Hitler as I´m doing his chart for this next assignment. Saturn in Leo, the superior race, in the 10th, lead by Hitler himself, at the top of the pyramid.

I was under the impression that racism would be a Virgo dynamic as it´s the opposite Pisces unity and a distortion to Virgo´s discrimination but it makes sense that relative to the trine to Capricorn, that it would work out that way, the Capricorn judgement that then would lead to unhealthy or distorted discrimination and even sadistic treatment.

Thank you

Hi Skywalker,

I agree with all you said, but in terms of generations of souls that incarnate together, I wonder about what they actually experienced, collectively, in their karmic past.  What, as a generation, did they collectively experience in the past that causes them to feel so insecure and powerless now?

Thinking back through history, I can think of possibilities - lifetimes as slaves and peasants? I am trying to imagine what they may have actually experienced in their past.  I understand the "why" in terms of what you offer as an explanation, but am trying to "feel" it on another level.  What you wrote triggers images of slaves in the Egyptian dessert trying to move huge stones in order to build pyramids as one possibility.  Or maybe people dropping like flies from the Black Death, or people who were victims of the Inquisition or the Holocaust.  Maybe all of the above and then some?

I wonder about this as there seem to be so many people manifesting this "god complex" these days.  I see it every time I read the news. I also see it in everyday people like local flea market vendors.

We now have the Neptune in Virgo generation through the Neptune in Pisces generations living on Earth. Based on what you mentioned in your post, I'm thinking that the Pluto in Virgo/Neptune in Scorpio generation, is the most likely group, as a generation, to have this inner sense of powerlessness, existential void, etc.  This generation arrived from 1956-1970. So, age wise, it makes a lot of sense.

What did this generation experience in their collective past that caused these collective feelings of powerlessness? I believe it is a generational karmic issues since this "god-complex" is manifesting on so many levels, through so many people, at this point in time.

So thanks, Skywalker, you inspired me to target the Pluto in Virgo/Neptune in Scorpio generation as the present generation whose members are most likely to manifest this "god complex." What do you think?

Anyone else have any thoughts?

I really do not know but it would seem to me that groups of people that were in extreme situations of powerlessness in the past, such as what you said about the holocaust for example, could manifest as a collective or group desire for power in their current lives.

From what I have seen, the Pluto in Leo generation has produced some of the biggest megalomaniacs and, some of those in the Pluto in Scorpio generation have a scary and ruthless desire for power.
I would say one has to really look at the individual thou.
