Hi Rad,

In the case of two planets forming a sesqui quadrate pointing at another planet and creating a focal point like the Yod does, would you consider it as having a Yod type of effect or does it have a specific meaning?

Thank you

All the best

Hi Skywalker,

First, it's meaning is symbolized in the context of the individual chart from an EA point of view: the evolutionary paradigm. The nature of the archetypes that correlate to the waxing/waning sesquiquadrate is then applied by way of the house/ sign positions of all three of the planets wherein the focus of all those dynamics manifests through the planet at the apex of the two other planets forming that aspect to it. Then, from an EA point of view, and understanding of the reasons or 'why' of such a signature in the birth chart must occur: the evolutionary intentions/ reasons for it in the specific individual context of the birth chart.

The underlying intention is this aspect pattern, which is one of a necessary adjustment within the Soul orientation within itself that then manifests in the the life being created, it's circumstances, that occurs through the evolutionary necessity of crisis creation, is that which creates the 'defacto' affect mirrored in the Yod aspect pattern. The difference lies in the very nature of the inconjunct aspects relative to the sesquiquadrate aspects.

God Bless, Rad
